The Institute 91’ What do you get when you cross a firm foundation of black metal, throat singing, and darksynth? An amazing album, that’s what. I couldn’t choose a favorite as every track has its own feel and vibe and perfect in its own right. Great album from a great artist! Keep it up man!!

While the production is first class and the musicianship needle-sharp, precise and endlessly gripping, special attention simply must be given to the vocal delivery.

Commanding attention (and rightfully so), VS' throat-singing permeates the album, lending it a nightmarish, cyberpunk quality and ensuring it is not just incredibly original, but hugely enjoyable. Favorite track: Seethe (Trapped in Obsidian Eyes).
